you can if in 3rd gear, but cruise control won't work at any speed in 1st and 2nd.


The top speed of a Cooper is governed to 124MPH, but can only attain Vmax=104MPH with windows and sunroof open.

I'll leave that one up for you to discover... and, if true, identify what British (Beatles?) song the chimes appear to play at random. Could this be an Easter Egg in the OBC software? or just an unusual electrical glitch in my '04?

ofcourse my S was GPS varified at 136.89! heh heh

ANd the Cooper CVT was @ 132 MPH ran out of room though..and were going slightly down hill so maybe that helped...and yes it's stock...and I just realised the CVT has 6 speeds as apposed to the 5 of the manual..so maybe that's why...
