Perhaps I'm just crazy, but the audio volume seems to increase when I go fast. Then when I slow down the volume drops to a much lower level.

Someone please set me strait on this one.

AM I CRAZY?

Thanks
Frank

no your not crazy. my chevy van does the same thing. It ajusts the volume of the radio to alow for road noise. most radios have this feture now in them. So you can stop pulling your hair out and go back to talking to the voices in your head.

Well, you might still be crazy, I don't know ...

What you are referring to is Speed Volume. It's supposed to do that.

Frank, you can turn that off if you want. It's one of the settings found by pressing the little music note on the radio.

Unfortunately, we can't do anything about the voices. I've heard that putting aluminium foil in your hat and taping over the electrical outlets at home helps.

Thats funny. I read all kinds of stuff on the internet and at the dealer, but I've never taken the time to read the manual. I should do that. They are so boring though. Thanks for the wake up.

As usual, MINI is the exception. 1st - I found both the manual and the unauthorized manual very interesting. 2d - The CD that comes w/ the MINI (unwrapped, I think) is the greatest thing. If you click on the radio, one of the things the video will tell you about is the Speed Volume. Slide it in your CD drive and Motor around a bit.
