There is a Sunshine MINIs member in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida with MC40 #304.

Downtown MINI in Orlando still had one of these for sale recently. It's become a demo car, I think.

 

Check out the link for a wrecked MC40 JCW on ebay. Might be a great deal for those interested in the MC40-specific bits and pieces with JCW to boot. Actually, the car looks a lot like Gminio's - can anyone confirm?

The issue is that this is an innocuous thread having nothing to do with what was mentioned it it would have been a shame to have seen it locked.

 

Why are there 3 R90s on that car and one slite?

 

If you check the pics Gminio posted on MINI2, it looks like one of the front R90s was severely damaged.

 

Interesting. Depending upon condition the R90s in anthracite are worth maybe $200 each since $435 new

Many ppl have asked how to get the red leather interior. Those parts should sell well.

As to the rest, it would easily be a junk car extra part bin. I bet if sold under $2K you could make money on selling the parts

Just thought you guys might be interested....MINI of Manhattan has a certified pre-owned MC40 on the floor. Not sure what number it is but if anyone is looking for one there ya go.

Hello! Today I tracked down the number of my MC40, and it took a lot of work! When I bought my Veronica, I didn't know she was an MC40, I just fell in love with the seats and had to have her. The previous owner (poorly) removed all signs that she was an MC40, even the numbered plate. I've had her since September and today I just got a fire in me to find out the number. I know from Car Fax that she has been in the GA/AL area her whole life, so I searched different dealerships. I saw a Mini at MINI of Kennesaw that possibly could have been mine based on miles and all, so I called them with my VIN number and they confirmed it matched and that she's #911! Let me tell you, it was not as easy as it seems here. I was all over forums, registries, different dealerships in the area. And now I know for sure. So happy!!!
