I just wanted to post that after many overtime hours of rocket building, and many more part time job hours of throwing heavy *** bundles of papers to paper boys, I have finally handed over a deposit to Mini of Murray in Salt Lake City, and have My Mini on order.
It will be a Jet Black S w/white top, bonnett stripes, Prem/Sport/Cold packages and Black Panther Leather.
Now I hear, to my understanding, comes the hard part, the wait.

 

ah, well, you should be used to waiting.....just like waiting till Liverpool win the Premiere Championship again.

I just ordered my Chili Red S a couple weeks ago. I will be built on Feb. 5th. Mine will be solid red with the first two packages. Right now I am hunting for 16X16.5 wheels for autocrossing. Best of luck.

does the name "xbritt" have any meaning? Are you now a U.S. citizen once from England? My dad is a big time Charlton supporter, I think he has got a MUCH longer wait than we do mate.

Yep, been here (Calif., US) since '79. I nearly fell out of my chair when I read that a new MINI was going to be coming out last year. Knew I had to get one when I first saw it. I've been a diehard Leeds supporter since '71. Lost track of footy in the '80's because of no news over here and no internet yet...but got back into it in the 90's. Having an unfortunate season this year....be lucky if we haven't sold our whole team by the end of the year. Get this for obscure, my dad is an avid supporter of Girvan...a Scottish Div. 1 club....his birthplace....you might be able to fit 10 supporters at the ground.

 

I like to tease my dad that you will only find 10 supporters at The Valley where Charlton play, despite how many the stadium holds.

 

Liverpool v Man Utd...at last a Worthington Cup final to watch! I always root for the team against Man U (except when they're in Europe). Go Liverpool!
