>>On the way to work I saw 4° (in Kentucky)... No heat in the car either. Very cold trip to work.
No heat? What's wrong? Maybe you should check your coolant overflow tank. If that's leaked enough that you have too little coolant to distribute heat, then soon you'll not only have no heat, you'll have no MINI

>>It's 16 in Memphis, Tn. This is the deep south, folks... supposed to be 6 degrees tonight. We're in total weather shock. I won't be complaining about our humidity anytime soon.  But after today, my MINI goes back in the garage, under his blanket until it heats up abit

>>Cold Weather Pack should be standard equipment above the Mason-Dixon Line....I don't see how you can consider heated seats an "option" in Minne-snow-ta the Land of 10,000 Flakes"
Let me just say that I have had no problems at all with the cloth sport seats feeling cold. The heated mirrors would be nice though.

Its just horrible here, today it got down to 60 degrees! I actually had to drive to work with the window up, can you belive what an ordeal that was! I am sick and tired of getting up every morning to a driveway full of sunshine. No really, I really do feel for all my mini friends in the colder climes, I am very lucky to have had parents who escaped from Buffalo NY at a young age and give birth to me here in sunny Southern Cal. My boggest dilema on the weekends is deciding on waterskiing, barefoot skiing, snow skiing in the local mountains or just hangin out and taken a day trip to Disneyland. I hope it warms up for all of you real soon so you can get out there and do some great motoring. Look me up in August when its about 115 degrees and a third stage smog alert!

I know what you mean Meneee...i was born and grew up in So Cal and we used to have "Smog-Alert Days" where they would send us home from school early! Oh how i miss my mountains and my beaches....i'll be leaving this frozen hell and moving back to So Cal in 2 yrs as soon as my son turns 18.......Look for the Brg/B streaking accross the plains ....
