After reading the En Route thread, I used the accu-weather site, entered the call sign of the Jupiter Diamond (9VNA), and this is what I got:

*** Illegal Item 9VNA. Ignored ***

*** Please Wait, Data is Being Processed ***

*** No Data Available for 15z25 ***

*** No Data Available for 18z25 ***

How is this data supposed to be used? It doesn't look like either degrees, minutes, and seconds,
nor does it look like decimal degrees, so I can't figure out how one would use this info
on the Maptech Mapserver site. Any ideas?

 

I tried tracking the Isolde in December and got essentially the same message you've got. However if I tried tracking other ships at the same time I could get real data that made sense. I never was able to track my ship, and it looks like you may be in the same boat.

Hi! The problem occurs because only ships that report in are tracked (because they can't track a ship that doesn't tell them where they are :smile: )

For example the AIDA is call sign SCFI.
There were no reports at 1500 hours, but there was at 1800 hours.

If your ship doesn't report weather conditions, I don't know what else to tell ya ! :smile:
