53/M Real Estate Developer; '06 Cooper - had it about 2 wks & 1300 mi & love it - solid, well built, blast to drive. 2 other cars in family - '02 Audi TT coupe, 2000 Audi a4 1.8T - Fiancee (40) drives the audis most of the time, but she's gonna love the TT too.
It is interesting to me that this thread started just about the day I ordered mine. I was 50 then that makes me 57 now. BTW any of you people that paid 5k over sticker I paid sticker+ 0.

I suspect the average age of the MINI driver is now (and will continue to be) lower as the price of used MINI's continue to fall into the affordable range of the younger demographic. The appeal is undeniable, and the difference between 30k and 15k opens lots of doors.
