Xenon question- I'm missing something...

Hello all. On my 2004 MCS, I have the factory Xenon headlights. There is a cutout on the headlight bezel for the spray nozzles, the pop out nozzles are present as are the lines and water tank- the problem is that there is no way (that I know of) to activate the washers. According to the manual there is suppossed to be some sort of toggle switch/paddle located on the steering wheel column? Am I totally off base here or am I just clueless as how to activate these washers? Truth be told I probably wouldn't use them but it would be nice to know if they at least work? HELP!

Turn your lights on and activate the windshield washer spray. That's how you do it

It's quite startling the first time you do it. It'll be dark and you'll turn on washers and all of the sudden this giant cloud of mist will explode from the front of your car.

Also if you lights are not on every third time in a row you use you windscreen washer the headlight washer will activate.

You'll know it's working because you'll hear the motor for them ingage. It makes a low buzzing sound.

I'm not sure you meant what you wrote.

The headlight washers only work when the headlights are on, but not every time the windscreen washers are activated. The headlight washers will come on the first time the windscreen washers are used and then every third time after that.

That being said, how could jbsf3 not seen them in action. I find it rather inconceivable that, unless he just bought the 2004, he has never used the windscreen washers with the headlights turned on. Maybe the headlight washers are not working or are out of fluid; they do have their own reservoir and maybe he has never filled them up.
