mcs and mc weight

ok i know the whole mcs weight thing has been covered but i didnt find any specs for the mc?? i would like to know the specs for a base model mc?

MC curb weight is about 2524 pounds for the manual transmission.

My God these cars are heavy. The Elise comes in under 2000lbs.

More weight in a smaller volume would also explain why this car does fairly well in crash tests...
