Hi, I just want to start a color-specific thread to see if I can check out other people's Orange Ones.
I just picked mine up this morning. I'm a happy monkey!

I'm the proud owner of a Hot Orange MINI named Gromit!
I tried to attach a picture, but I'm not sure it worked.

Okay...I saw this but got no pic. The other day I was out motoring and saw (in my neighborhood) a PS and
orange Cooper S. No kidding!!! I'm guessing this hardtop S started life in silver. There was a 3/4" dark blue stripe the length of the car following about 8" below the beltline. Everything below the stripe was PS...everything above the dark blue stripe was
tangerine orange ....including the roof!!!! Nice!!!

That's some beautiful stuff, David. I can compliment you so with confidence as I'm also a photographer
Was that a black top too?
Mishka - I now know what my car would look like with the black bonnet stripes. That is Nice!

Thanks. It was actually the blue top. It's a little hard to get right in low light since the blue is so dark in that light.

first off beautiful color and great convertibles ...
i would be the first in line to buy an Orange/White MCS hardtop if they made one ... they need to bring this color over to the full range.

All great bright color goes to Convertible now (Cool blue, Hot orange).. and leave all dull color to the hard top.

I don't currently have a picture, but at my local MINI dealer (Tate MINI of Annapolis) they have a orange with green top!
Gives the MINI a very interesting 'pumpkin' look!

Hot Orange is a beautiful color. Even better with stripes! <---just my opinion.

That's cool. I'm of the complete opposite opinion. I think HO shouldn't have any stripes. But again, that's JMO. It's all good though.

My Orange Monster
Adding to the thread 'O Orange.
I also sometimes call my car the Chrome-agnon... for obvious reasons.
I've always loved Orange, and loved Mini's since I was a kid.
Clearly, I couldn't pass up the chance to put these two things together.
The addition of the JCW kit has made a world of difference in response.
Cheers,
-Jay Redd

Nice shot of Sears Tower to the left...
I really like the Hot Orange (stripe or no stripe)... if anyone cares, I noticed Wheel of Fortune has an Orange MCc as one of their prizes for the last couple of weeks.
btw.. nice pic Gr8Force

Reddbear,
Your ride is friggin' SWEET! The silver stripes are especially nice. JCW kit, eh? Are you riding it hard or what? I love your sunset picture too.
Gokartride,
I'm still trying to imagine what you saw. That's Crazy!

Reddbear,
What are those three things on your driver-side door? ...or is it just a reflection or something?

I think those look like chrome strips. He mentioned a addiction to chrome...
