2. I cant get my own car insurance (Not because of finances) but things that had happen in the past.
3. I have my own money to worry about thats why i made that statement, my parents dont support me or pay for my way of life. So if i have to buy a car i use them for insurance purposes or else i wouldnt need them to sign for it.
Thats all..
Anyways, thanks tho.

It is clear you don't have anything but a bunch of fancy cars and trucks that you have to pay thru the nose to even get to "borrow" for a few years. You screwed up your DL so BAD as a new driver with accidents, tickets, arrests or maybe all three, that I presume that you CAN"T ever get insurance, not without a 10 year waiting period or something like it. Do you even have a valid DL, or are you scamming on that somehow? People with money never have to tell me about it, you can tell by how they handle themselves and their business. All this is still OK, it's your life, but why do you have to come online and just LIE and YELL about stuff just to make yourself feel impt? What's up with that? You apparently care deeply about what you can YELL at other people about how together you are. Business people don't have to do that, but heck, it's NJ, some folks up there seem to think they get extra points for being rude and obnoxious, anywhhoo, spend your $$ anyway you want. This was never about YOU anyway, just about whether anyone should MOD their lease car and not end up risk getting hosed at the dealer at the end, you did know that at least, right?

No 20 year old can make a claim that they "make more money than you'll ever see in your lifetime", unless they're a drug dealer or something else just as illegal.

This guy probably just hauls dirt around in his dump truck, it probably feels like big money when you live at home with MOM and DAD.

Of course, you do realize that now he's going to have to confess to what he does that nets him so much money.
After all, he said he didn't care about our opinions, and then spent like four pages trying to prove our opinions wrong.

Yeah... this thread went downhill fast. I hope for Tomato' sake that he ends this cycle of lousy leases and is able to finish his education. Instead of throwing your money out the window, how about saving it up and investing it wisely? Ya' know... some of us here have mortgages, businesses and investments as well as automobiles... before you spout off and get nasty why don't you open up your mind and listen to what people with ALOT more life experiance have to say?
Anyway... who was it here that said people in New Jersey are obnoxious and nasty??? Not all of us are like that! Some of us are actually pretty nice! Take it back! )

"so what should i do. go back and show them? and maybe ill get lucky to resign the deals..??
education is key, now next time i buy cars i know..
Thanks" ( MR. Tomato)
This is the best part after we started to "educate" him, which started all the name-calling and deplorable behavior, he is all sickningly sweet and thankful to the BMW guy, who, admittedly, was able to very competently dissect his BAD lease agreement.
P.S., he still thinks he is "buying" cars. Too funny, or SAD.

His new LEASED car is probably going to be trash in no time. My biggest problem with him is him saying that he got book value for his Mini with all of his mileage and mods.
numbers im coming to the realization that yea i was ****ed on both the 330i and the xi. I should really have something like a 370 payment or around the same 515 something a month with no money down, probably why they didnt car much for getting me clean out of the MINI. I was wrong for trusting them, i tried to defend something that wasnt right because i was stubborn and didnt want to listen to anyone. I beleive i was in denial, and now I appologize to everyone on here who tried to make me understand but i didnt listen. Now im listening. Once again I appologize to all of you. "Lifes a lesson live and learn" Now i learned mine. Only next time can i change that... and i hope you guys understand and are forgiving...
"And you quoting that my other car was trashed, is because i bought it used from a really bad car dealer. Alot of people from my area buy from J&S autohaus, they have like all german imports and they all are really bad, my mines 01 c240 was nothing but problems, thats why she got the new bmw with warranty" I learned a lesson here to. but the hard way, dont buy from unrepputable people and dont buy used unless certified. My mini was with 3000 miles and i did things to it but it was certifed from MINI dealer, all i had was few minor problems like door squees and such.

I got pissed off because you asked for legitimate advice here and didn't listen to anybody and then came here bragging aboutyour great deal and how great leasing is and how you make out so much better over buying. Nobody wanted to see you get screwed from the dealer and that's what dealers do in most cases, they move numbers and make you think you did good. Enjoy your new car, don't think about your "deal" anymore but be smarter next time you ask for advice on geting a new car maybe actually listen.

Hey Man, welcome back. Learning is the key. It always helps to have other counsel in any business deal. my brother has been stressing that with me lately. Didn't mean to POUND on you, well we did do it, BUT most anyone reacts that way to anger. 3 human responses to most any hostile situation, fight, flight or flee.
Really, you HAVE to be able to WALK away from any deal. Believe me, if you can hold your own and get a good deal in the used or new car business, you are well on your way to being able to hold your own anywhere in any business.
My apology to you as well, these things can go "full circle".

Mr. Tomato, you didn't ask, but here is the way I think you can make the best of your current lease. Plan for the buyout at the end of the lease. Keep your mileage within the limits, keep the car BONE STOCK and in excellent condition. Repeat, KEEP IT STOCK, don't even upgrade the speaker, seats, NADA, walk into the lease end with your outside financing in place, pay it off with a 30K purchase loan, plus whatever extra money you can throw at your second financier to lower your payments.
Then modify it all you want, but my opinion is ANY MODS lower the re-sale of any car, I learned that buying and selling motorcycles for 20 years, no one will ever convince me any different. After-market=lower re-sale. MODs are a hobby, hobbys cost money, very seldom make money. IMHO.
What does everyone else think?

FYI, one reason that they may have taken back your mod'ed car without any major reprocussions, is that you jumped right back into another lease. I'm willing to bet that if you tried to get out of there without getting another car, you would have had to pay dearly.....
They kept you in the lease loop. More money for them in the long run.
Live and learn...

now i understand everything. yea kinda sucks now but hell.. i never new i could be so stupid with car deals.. I am a contractor, do labor work, work hard for my money, also buy houses to rehab and sell.. I alwayz looked out for my a$$ in that part of the business and made a few good deals here and there... but i must say i am naive when buying cars, looks like all you guys here are older, i know theres a long life ahead i am only 20, learn from your mistakes. For Xmas i want to pick up my girl a 330xi cause she wants the all wheel drive for the snow. Now i know she can lease for 2-3 years because she keeps miles low and likes new cars also. but hell now when i go buy this time for ever i will hagle all it takes and leave nothing but inceptions and hope i walk out with like a 400 $ car payment. alright, well thanks guys, ill get going prep the truck for the snow coming and get the plow on. Have a good day all.

I agree. Keep it stock. Don't put anything into the leased beast except fuel, oil, air and water (in the proper recepticals puleez). Wash 'n Wax, shampoo the carpets, generally be 100% **** about care care whilst the vehicle belongs to the finance guys. Keep your mileage as low as is humanly possible on all leased vehicles. Get OUTSIDE financing when you go to purchase at the end of your lease (they screwed ya before, don't trust them ever again!). Once you have the car in your name, mod til you drop.

Well, I think it would be a good idea to take some classes on personal finance. No offense but, 50 people would not have had to pound away on this subject to get you to see why a lease is a big rip-off to you. Especially if you are in buisness for yourself these same traps await you in real-estate as well.
