Hi, what wheel offset can use on the Mini?
I know stock rims are
15x5.5 with 45 mm offset
16x6.5 with 50 mm offset
17x7 with 50 mm offset

Can I use 16x6.5 with 45 mm offset?

I see a lot of Acura/honda rims that are cheap and would be nice for a winter package...thanks

 

I use Honda Civic rims on my MCS... I have 185/65/15 tires on them.

No problem with offset, but the center ring is not right, so every time I need to make sure they are properly fitted or it will shake!

 

All of the below will fit, considering 195-215 size tire widths.

I am currently using 16x7.5" +42mm offset running 205/50/16 performance
tires.

The other important thing to remember is the 4x100 PCD (bolt pattern)
and 56.1mm center bore. Most Honda civic and Integra wheels will
fit given the above bolt pattern and center bore.

 

Would 38mm be too low on 16x7?

 

Ive seen people use +38..if you use 195/55/16's you probably won't rub,
but any wider might rub the rear.
