Yeah, the clock gains time. Just a few minutes a month, but it adds up. Maybe BMW designed it that way just like having the speedo read fast, so that we're never late!

Huh - interesting....I just had a MINI friend of mine tell me her clock is doing the same thing ...so far knock on wood, ours seems to be keeping the correct time...
my clock in 2005 S is rock solid... love it, can't say the same for the other niggle problems in the car, but now I will appreciated the car's timliness~
funny... i thought it was just me.
now i'll watch it to see if it keeps gaining time.
i thought i was moving through time... also since i'm getting 19mpg.
the only other things w/ the car are small rattles that are hard to locate while driving... since they are in the back of the car.
Weird...my car is only two weeks old and its clock has gained a few minutes. I thought I was imagining it. My mechanical wristwatches are more accurate than that.
On my 2005 MCS automatic the clock loses 1 minute every 5 days. A tad irritating given that a $4 watch will be accurate to 1 minute per 6 months, but that's pretty much the only thing that isn't perfect about the car!
Yeah, my 05 MCS also does the same thing. After a reset several weeks ago, I've gained at least 20 min. of time. My friends ask me if it irritates me. I just say that Motoring is timeless.
Marty McFly : Doc, You gotta listen to me. A guy from NAM go his MINI to do the same thing as that ugly car you built... We have to go in 2005 to get that car back!
