Yeah, the clock gains time. Just a few minutes a month, but it adds up. Maybe BMW designed it that way just like having the speedo read fast, so that we're never late!

So that's where my time is going! My clock loses a few minutes a month; now I know who to blame.

Huh - interesting....I just had a MINI friend of mine tell me her clock is doing the same thing ...so far knock on wood, ours seems to be keeping the correct time...

Yup. Our '05 Cooper's clock is pretty fast. Picks up a few minutes a week.

My '03 S's clock is pretty stable, though.

My X3 does the same thing, have yet to see it with the mini yet though. Think the programming in the clock it'self is off a few seconds.

funny... i thought it was just me.
now i'll watch it to see if it keeps gaining time.
i thought i was moving through time... also since i'm getting 19mpg.

the only other things w/ the car are small rattles that are hard to locate while driving... since they are in the back of the car.

Weird...my car is only two weeks old and its clock has gained a few minutes. I thought I was imagining it. My mechanical wristwatches are more accurate than that.

On my 2005 MCS automatic the clock loses 1 minute every 5 days. A tad irritating given that a $4 watch will be accurate to 1 minute per 6 months, but that's pretty much the only thing that isn't perfect about the car!

Yup mine too, I think my MINI is trying to tell me I am always late or something and is just trying to help.

Anyone know if it is fixable at all? Kind of annoying.

i gain about 20 tics per DAY.... that adds up in one month. it's the ONLY thing that bugs me about my '05 MCS.

Yeah, my 05 MCS also does the same thing. After a reset several weeks ago, I've gained at least 20 min. of time. My friends ask me if it irritates me. I just say that Motoring is timeless.

My MCSa seems to want to be 6 minutes ahead. I can set it and within 2 weeks it's 6 minutes fast but at least it never gets past 6 minutes.
