It had to happen....

An all-MINI family is sometimes forced to be creative-or forceful enough to shove a tree in the backseat. Thought you'd all appreciate this. Sorry for the poor quality. I actually had someone ask if they could take a picture of this with their cell phone cam!

That's yet another way to make use of the convertible. A true SUV.

You may want to consider tying the ornaments to the tree so they don't blow off while you're motoring.

You should leave the tree in the car, and just decorate it. A mobile chirstmas tree! *English accent* BRILLIANT!

Good one!! Just yesterday my wife and I took her "big" Honda Accord out to get our tree. I suppose I could have stuck it through the sunroof, had I taken the MINI solo, lol. Now that would have been a photo op!

Thanks all! Now if I can only find Xmas lights that'll plug into a 12V power source/cig lighter!

You can't believe how many people were smiling at our tree predicament. Some seemed truly amazed.

ROFLMAO!

When you got home, did you place your MINI on the tree as an ornament?

We did actually use the MINI as an ornament--but in the driveway!! It looked too small when dangling from the tree.

Now I am totally the kind of person who would buy a converter and light up that tree in situ, but, and this is a big but, the MCC belongs to my wife!! I have a hardtop. Not that she would mind, or even notice, a fully operational Xmas tree in her backseat, but I am the one who does the detailing in the house, and the thought of removing pine sap from fabric seats gives me the *******.

Not to mention getting pine needles out from behind the tach.
