Better watch it with that tint. Sunroofs have been know to crack when doing that. Heat build up between the glass and tint, then, Crack!

@astro I live in AZ and a LOT of people I know (including myself) have tinted the sunroof. Not sure if we are lucky or what but I have never seen one crack. Not saying it couldn't happen I just have never experienced it. Mine has been tinted for years and has seen 120f. I went farther on 2 of our cars and we had the sunroof covered with white vinyl. Better than tint. It keeps a lot more heat out of the car.

You just need to vent that bonnet to give the engine a break....

I'll report back in a week or so. I've read it will so I'm hopefull. If not, all that's lost is about $1 in WD40, a rag and a LOT of sweat... Warm today.

I will say that after I cleaned and rinsed (tossed some water on them) them they looked great and felt Very smooth. No residue etc.

It just rained so I'm anxious to see if the olive oil held up or not. It looked great though. Even my wife noticed on the wipers. Asked if I got new ones. Said nope,
Just that old bottle of EVOO we didn't know what to do with.

Just went out for a peek and while its hard to tell from an iPhone camera, it looks good.

WD40 will barely remove old brake dust, in my Southwest climate I cannot see how it would prevent it from sticking. Some say EBC Red pad have low dust. That is all I got, and white rims.....

I have the green pads and they leave lots of dust! I guess I should have got the red ones.

Did my first dorky cheapskate mod last week.

I'd always needed a good place to put my glasses when I was wearing my sunglasses (or vice versa). Solution: rubber band looped around the bar for the visor. Cost: 0 as it was a rubber band from a batch of broccoli

Of course I also realized that I could hook the earpiece through one of the many switch guards in the dash as well.

Want to get one of these small trash cans. Pretty neat, only $5.

Anyone have ideas where to put it?

I have a small can on the back of the passenger seat. It's out of the way and convenient.

I have one of the mini rubbish bags, and love it. I hang it over the shifter and let it lie in the passenger foot well.

When I finally emerge from the back seat after cleaning from stem to stern, I laugh at the vision that I imagine. Most of us must be contortionists.

You must not live in a hot sunny climate. Most of the year I want to block the sun.

Whose stupid idea was this to make them out of glass?

It's not so much the sunroof's made of glass, but that the sun"shade" is so heavily perforated as to be nearly transparent!

Yup. I have a Zippee Shade now, but am thinking about getting a big sheet of the black reflective vinyl material used for my rally stripes and putting it on the sunroof glass to not only block but reflect the sun. Here in AZ, the sun is hot even in the winter....

Here are those eBay projector lights.
Cut some lexan, spliced into the door light wire, slapped em in. Came out alright for $14!
