I guess I'm just wondering does the aux plug into the head unit in the place of something else or the cd changer control?
I'm not 100% sure as we don't have an iPod or the CD changer. The aux input was installed within 6 months of buying the car by us. It's mounted in the European-parcel shelf and uses a home-made self-retracting cord to attach it to a PDA for NAV and to play MP3's. As it's been there for a couple of years now, the memory is vague, but I'm pretty sure it jsut plugs into the back of the head unit. Before the PDA, a Mini-disc player was used, which fit convienently on the parcel shelf. When the dealer installs the aux-input, they seem to invariably put the jack in the glove box. The PDA mounts on a pillar mounted bracket.

Well I changed my order this morning to add the HK and MFSW, passed on the auxiliary adapter. Thanks for all input and opinions. Glad I flushed this out while I still had time and wont regret it later.

coopercrazy, i checked out that thread. i love the viper stripe look. i do like the silver on the ds, but i agree, may be too subtle. have you checked out the frost on ds look, or the light blue transparent i think they call it. pretty cool from the few pictures i've seen. i'm really struggling with the stripe look. another thought i had was some type of red and black, maybe even a checkerboard, which i think would look cool on ds, especially the red. the other option is the offset stripe which i also like quite a bit.

rb, I'll have my pics up in a week.
I'm doing lighter than the pics i just posted.
I'm doing pure silver.
I dont know where you are in CT, but there is a custom vinyl shop on LI. He can do anything you can think of, and he's reasonable.

My DS/DS is very similar to yours. (You can see the car in the 1st Gear Forum...New Guy) I would splash out for the HK, it is worth it .
The MFSW is a must. Not sure where you live but heated seats are worthwhile.

Anyway good luck with your choice, you'll be really happy I'm sure.

Great move on the MFSW. Sooner or later someone will want to use cruise control. It's impractical to add it later....and it should be standard equipment..
