in the 3 months i was looking for the perfect set of wheels, i was actually considering painting my roof white just to make it easier for me to find rims to match my Mini but eventually ended up buyin these got them locally, bnew on sale @ $1000 (converted from our currency to USD). actually, my rims aren't black. the color is said to be "magnesium blue"

Your car is SWEEET. I love the wheels...aren't you glad you didn't paint the top white? Also, the yellow on the rims really "pops" kinda' reminds me of the tires I've seen on Stock Cars. Quick question...what's the offset of your new wheels? Judging from your pictures, they look like they come all the way out to the outer edge of the fender which, by the way, looks very agressive and cool. I'm also in the market for some after-market wheels/tires and am a little confused as far as Offset goes. Any info. is appreciated. Again, you've got a really cool car....let's see more pics!!!
about blacking out the grille using 3M tape, i tried doing it myself but i just don't have the patience best that i have it done by someone who knows what he's doing
thanks for the compliments guys

I did trim and joey mod and i will never do it again on an 02. hey i have the bottom piece of the earo grill but havnt installed it yet. I ahve all the install inst but do you hav any words of wisdom. o btw heres a pic of my car this morn without the covers on the lights, sorry its dirty
That looks very good with the lights!
I actually bought a used aero grill from a fellow MINI motorer.
But I looked at it and the cuts looked pretty simple to the grill piece.
All I had to do was take a new sharp razor blade to a couple slots in the bumper and make them wider. then the grill popped right in. so just trim the lower grill piece and then cut the slots wider on the bumper. ( i didnt even have to take my bumper off )
oh also i had to remove the sticky residue from the piece that was above the silver lower grill. (goo gone should get right rid of that )

many new MINI mods
So, I've been saving up money to get my car the way I've always wanted. In the past two months, I've made a LOT of progress!
1. M7 Pulleys (-16%&+2%) and a new JCW Belt
2. Madness 22mm RSB
3. 17" Konig Feathers in Matte Black wrapped in Yokohama S. Drives ('Strive's' ?)
4. EBC slotted&dimpled Sport Rotors, Green Stuff and braided Stainless lines. (Actually, these will be installed Monday).
I'm really proud of my little beast! All of this has come about, really, because I've been Tracking my car and just want it to be all that it can be. When I've had an Instructor, they've NEVER passed up an opportunity to drive it...and they all LOVED it!
