I've noticed that the crash tests tend to be front end collision tests. I'm very confident that my MC would do just fine in a front end accident. However, my concern is being rear-ended while carrying a rear seat passenger. There is litterally less than a foot from the rear of the car to where the seats are.

Anyone know anything about these types of accidents and safety?

Thanks in advance.

Can't imagine it would offer too much protection in a rear-end collision. But then again, what do I know?

When I was installing my XM antenna I accidently found out that the backs of rear seats are metal, not plastic like the front ones (the magnet on the antenna stuck to them). I suppose it might help the passengers a bit. ...
