Painting the Speedometer Trim

I have seen a large amount of write-ups regarding the painting of the "Y-pieces" of the doors and shift **** trim. Unfortunatley, I have not been able to find a write up on the removal process of the Speedometer Trim on the Center dash. I have been able to successfully remove the vent trim on the center dash console by twisting them off and pulling outward but have been unsuccessful with the speedo trim. After numerous search attempts I have become desperate for answers. Any Suggestions?

wow...Thanks for the quick response. I didn't realize that I had to remove the glovebox to get to the center dash console screws But I guess I have to do it...

After it was all said and done...here are the final pics of the interior face lift. I went against painting the dash trim all together, due to being afraid of taking away the carbon dash feel. What do you think?

I just want to know why you messed with such a limited editions interior like that? I hope you used spare parts and can switch it back?

To be honest I like the new door, but personally I do not like the red speaker cover and the red around the door handle

Edit: Actually the more I look at it, the more I like it, suits the seats

It's just paint...It can all be undone. Anthracite is a very easy color to duplicate. I have a good paint guy. But this is a good point!

Much better before... painting the speaker grills is not something I'd do.
