Move over Geek Squad

(Just couldn't find the right place to put this)
Found an interesting company in southern California that has a fleet of red MINI Coopers for their neighborhood computer support service. Check out their clever website: www.makeitwork.com especially the On The Air videos.

There a computer service in Austin that drives MINI's as well . Got a flyer in the mail, and was pleased to see an IB/W MCS on the flyer.

Very cool! I was at Best Buy the other night and saw the "Geek Squad" for the first time (yes, I need to get out more!) - I thought it would be cool if they were Mini's. Neat to see someone thought of it!

That is cool but I wish they would use non-standard paint schemes. Like the Geek Squad doing the police paint job. I would hate to see red MINIs become associated in people's minds with computer repair. I mean just ask anybody who tries to buy a white Crown Vic or a full-size van of any color. "No I'm not a police officer" "No I'm not a repairman or a church group"

haha that's why I'm worried with my pepper white. I hope Miniapolis doesn't decide to get tiny little police cars!

Nice but the creatures on the roof make it a little too goofy seeming.

I used to live a couple houses down from the guy that founded that in Santa Barbara (where they started)

Fleet of red MINIs that continued to grow, now I'm living in Long Beach and just saw one down here.

They got a round of funding: http://www.socaltech.com/story/0002536.html
