I just had arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery and my Doc says no 6 speed shifting for me for 3 weeks . It is killing me to be the passenger, but I guess a ride is a ride.
Sorry to hear that. I hope the surgery was a success. Did the Doc say no driving or just no shifting? Can you motor with a friend working the gears while you steer, clutch, brake and accelerate? 4 out of 5 is better than nothing.
Wish you a speedy recovery. You could try sitting backwards in the driver's seat--then you could shift with your non-surgically repaired arm or move to England.

Sending you good vibes and a speedy recovery - sounds like ouch!! Take care....and don't get too ansy to drive before you should - you might do MORE damage and then you will be SOL even longer...

jibeho,
My dad had that last summer and he needs another surgery. He had the arthroscopic way and it turns out that going under the knife would have been better. Now he will be cut open and miss all the summer fun again. Hope you feel better soon.
