Outlaw MCS in Columbus Area wanted by police!?
Very interesting story....but is it credible,?????
I go to college at Ohio State in Columbus; last weekend I went on a school trip down West Virginia and talked to our OSU tour guide on the way there. Our tour guide's brother is a state trooper for Franklin county (Columbus). Before he knew that I have a MCS, he was telling me random police stories about his brother. Here is what allegedly went down..
On April fools day, a Franklin county state trooper was going down I-70 N around midnight and a Silver MCS with a dark tint job with no tags and a "loud exhaust" drove up next to the trooper. The passenger rolled down the window and gave him the bird then accererated off leaving the state trooper far behind.
A few nights later, a different state trooper was patrolling I-70. The same Mini passed him, then slowed down and came to a complete stop and started brake torquing the tires in the middle of the interstate, then once again tried to accelerate off. He said the Mini was doing over 150mph because the trooper couldnt keep up. He called for backup but the Mini had already exited the highway by the next couple of exits because they couldnt find it...He said the police are now looking up the tags of all registered Silver MCS owners in the Columbus area and further investigating it.
Have any of you locals heard of this story??? If this is true, I think for a MINI to hit 150 or even around that, it almost has to be twin-charged. I don't know of any in this area though. Any leads? Or just BS?
