Not exactly sure how many NAMers are also members of the BMW CCA, but three months ago Roundel, the Satch Carlson edited club magazine, started carrying a column entitled Bimmer Lite by Vince Leo all about our favorite car the BMW MINI (although Satch in a misguided attempt to provide proper English in his mag requires MINI be written Mini, but I digress).

In the just released May 2006 issue, Vince Leo's column concerns us the "mad, mad modders" of the MINI world. Vince explores the possibilities of suspension modification, and herein lies the plug:

"To help me find ideas on suspension, I logged onto one of my favorite Mini forums (www.northamericanmotoring.com)."

Many aftermarket vendors of suspension setups are mentioned, but in the end Vince chose Bilstein sport struts and H&R sport springs (this for a daily driver MCS rather than a track car).

Nice to se that BMW CCA regards us so highly!

 

and have the issue, but haven't read Vinces' column yet...
