Ok this is weird but I think my MINI is a Latino

First off I would like to state I too am of Latino desent however I do not listen to my cultural music. For some reason I like Rock n Roll and Rap weird combo huh?

I have no Latin stations programmed into my HK system nor have I ever tuned to them but for some stinking reason ever time I start my MINI my radio tunes itself to a local latin station.

Here in West Texas most Latin stations sound very country and its just not my thing.

So my question is am I losing my mind? Is my MINI haunted by Poncho Villa? Should I rename it Ricky Martin, Astons south of the border cousin? Most importantly will President Bush deport my MINI? Could it be the fact I eat an occasional burrito in the cockpit.

You are not crazy...

DSA,

I had a similar problem with the radio stations in my MINI too.. Like you, I posted a question to see if there were other MINI's with this issue.. Here is that thread.. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=56447

The good news is that my MINI is cured... The bad news is that I am not sure what fixed it... It just went away.. As you will find in the other thread.. I think it was related to the broadcast power of the local station. Perhaps your local radio station will get it adjusted soon and you can go back to listening to YOUR music..

Good luck..

Do you ever find your car turning into Taco Bell on its own kinda like a ouija board.

Do like the name Pancho for a Mini though

Being of Colombian origin, I don't listen to music in Spanish at all, not even when I was living there. I always was hooked into Jazz, Pop, Rock you name it. There is very few Spanish language music I like such as Soda Stereo, Shakira, etc.

You are quite sane. Once again, the outstanding theory that MINIs tell their owners their names is clearly shown.

RM sounds good.

You could rename your car "Yennifer Yopez"
