02 MCS with 75k

Still going strong. Nothing big that wasn't my fault... Some little, but better than most cars I've had....

Nope. Just drive very fast. The windscreen is near verticle, so rocks hit it HARD (I"m on my third one....)

for what it's worth....

Mini windshields crack. PPG pit.

Hey Dr. Obnxs,

75K strong! That's awesome. Your point on the windshield (being near verticle) is correct, which is one of the many reasons that I stay clear of trucks.

Just drive in a budget starved state..

and the road surfaces will be so bad that you won't need to follow trucks to find rocks! Ask me how I know.....

Traded in my 02 MC with 50k miles-only very minor problems. Wish I could have kept it along with my new 06 - received a month ago and going strong. I just love these cars!

I hit 88,000 miles yesterday! I gave her a wax job last night to celebrate.

My '02 MCS runs like a top! Can't remember the few repairs done early on... I know I still have my original windscreen... how about that?

My 03 MCS had a host of electrical, window and sunroof problems that were addressed on 9 trips to the dealer.

But the car always ran sweetly and never stranded us. We bought an 06 MCS because the 03 (traded back) was so fun and drove so well.

regards,
Red

Got Egan when he had 24947 miles on it back in Early july and now I put over 1600 miles on it. No worries or problems going on here.

And I don't think I'll be one of those people on the bandwagon for getting a '07 Mini. I'll probably miss the sound of that whine. *wahhhhhhhhh*

It never gets old.

Mine is on delivery and it's nice to hear the good things instead of the bad things that keep me up at night. I have had horrible luck with cars in the past and am hoping that this one will be a good one! *fingers crossed*

We had a RIOT

Car was flawless. Coming up to 1st service and we don't even have any warranty issues.
