Differences between North American and European versions

I'm curious, what are the differences between the European and North American versions of the MINI? I've heard things like the driver's parcel tray and a first aid kit being offered in Europe, but are there any other differences? Any significant mechanical differences?

The xenon headlights have a manual wheel to adjust vertical aim. (That's what the cutout is for in the euro parcel shelf, even though we use it to mount the switch for driving lights.)

The mirrors power fold.

There are no side marker lights in the fender arches.

Auto-up windows are already there...no need to buy Ian's circuit across the pond.

The MINI One and One D are available over there.

There is an instant clearing option for the windshield...some kind of defroster. I don't think radar detectors work well through it.

In Australia only, the speedometer and tach swap positions. There's some law down there about the speedometer has to be in the driver's direct line of sight.

Some of the el Cheapo versions have a shelf on the passenger side instead of a glovebox.

Air Conditioning is an optional feature in Europe.

Only 2 airbags are standard. The other 4 are optional (varies by country, I think).

That's all I can think of, but there's probably more.

The rear tail lights are both red and yellow. The blinker is required to blink yellow/orange. In North America, it blinks red.

Rear fog light is NOT an option and required in Germany.

Speed dial only has khm per hour not, mph and khm.
