Hi guys,

I wanted the bow! On top of my Mini was the biggest, cutest bow when I picked it up. But they wouldn't let me keep the bow. They gave me two Mini mugs instead.

I wanted the bow to use to take for a Christmas picture this year. Geez! You'd think after paying what I did, I could keep the stupid bow!!!

Did any of you get to keep the bow the dealer put on top?

 

I didn't get a bow, just that zip cover... I didn't get to keep it either but I think you can buy it.

NO bow on my car when I picked him up, nor a zipper cover.

 

No bow....no zipper cover either. I feel left out.

 

No bow for me either...sounds cute though. I got a shirt and a brand spanking new CAR!!!!

 

We had a beautiful HUGE bow for delivery - but nope - didn't get to keep it

 

No giant bow for me either. But, I suppose if I really wanted one, I could just visit Giantbows.com and get one!

 

No bow, no cover, no mugs, no t-shirt.

However, we did get two packs of MINI mints, two MINI air fresheners, two mod your own MINI sticker kits and a FANTASIC MINI.

With this car, the other stuff doesn't matter.

Guess you can tell it was my turn in the MCS today.

Bow? Mints? Champagne? I didn't get anything with my car. No T-*****, mugs, stickers, air fresheners, zipper covers, etc. All I got was a key, a manual, and an entire rugby team's worth of mud splattered all over the interior from the joyrides that were done by the delivery driver (who presumably ate the mints). Thanks Moritz of Dallas! You're the best!

There was no BOW on my MCS. I didn't get any complimentary MINI mugs either

We kept the nice bow our dealer put on top of the dashboard when we picked our '02 Pepper White/Black Cooper CVT 8 months.

I think my wife used in Xmas for a gift wrapper..

 

Well can you blame them for not giving you the big bow? Would you just hand out a $420 (minimum) bow with every car you sold? Of course not.

I got a lovely bow on my dash as well...and I got to keep it!
The dealer was Fort Lauderdale MINI. Got Mints and a SunVisor as my bonus prizes....

Yes, it's Mini of Sterling! I had a BIG, BIG white bow on the top of my car. I'd say it was around 4 feet wide by 2 feet high? It covered the entire top of the car. If you put the seats down, it would have fit in the back and I could have taken it home with me.

After checking, BIG BOWS PRICE LIST I can see why the salesman took it off the car as soon as I said, "Oh I love the bow that comes with it."

I guess I'm lucky to have my Mini Mugs? Thanks Bill. Salute!!

When I was waiting for Mo, I heard a lot about the "gift packs" people were receiving from MINI that included a mug and all kinds of stuff. Never got one of those either.

I was pretty bummed, but then I went for a drive on a sunny day and got over myself.

 

it's too bad the dealers didn't let any of you guys keep your sanity!
