Madonna buys MINI Cooper
Madonna has reportedly bought a sporty Mini Cooper.
The £20,000 electric blue car has a leather interior, 17in alloy wheels and a satellite navigation system.
And workers at the Cowley car plant in Oxfordshire gave it the personal touch by signing their names on the underside of the chassis.
A worker told The Sun: "We are all so proud that Madonna is such a big fan of the car.
"Everyone who worked on it left their signature, either inside or under the bonnet.
"If anyone doubted this was a classy car before, they can certainly think again now Madonna has bought one."
The star didn't visit the plant herself but ordered an aide to collect it for her.

Just to add to this thread.....
While at Hank Aaron MINI in Atlanta.....
I was told....(by a few people at the dealer) that the "Boss" Bruce Springsteen had been in for a test drive the week before....
Don't know if he purchased one but he drove the "S" that I took for a spin.

I was told that the director or producer (sorry, I forget) of "Harry Potter" also bought a pure silver, black top MINI. It's good that everyone wants one, but it sucks that the "rich and famous" probably don't have to wait for their custom MINI any longer than it takes them to sign the check. :???:

Madonna got a Mini....well seeing all the directions that she has trended in....you know, Material Girl and then she was just a big ho for awhile and then she eventually started dressing like a gypsy and now she has that British accent (I thought she was from Detroit??) you never know how long she will actually drive her new Mini.....
I give it a few months until she packs it into her gigantic superstar garage and buys another car that she will drive for a few months....man it just must suck to have all the money in the world! :smile:
