My stainless steel shifter **** (similar to Whalen) is as cold as a you know what after few hours in the cold. Wow! Never expected that! Gloves are a must. Does anyone make a **** warmer?
In the winter it's colder than a witch's t*t, actually it's cold enough to freeze the ***** of a brass monkey (if you're into nautical terms). I generally leave a woolen mitten over it when the temp gets below freezing and the car is left outside.
My wife and I both have Whalens and iPods, so I bought one of the five-packs of iPod "socks". Covers both ***** and both iPods, with one spare, all for $15.
Sock? Good idea! Maybe a heated one from Cabelas! Wonder if they have 12V version?
I do notice that it warms up after driving a bit. It must pick-up some heat from the shifter tunnel.
Well there is that vent to the right of the speedo and straegic aiming, but itt is a personal question so no I'm not going to tell you how hot or cold my **** is. Gloves help too.
turner motorsports makes a carbon fiber **** that is absolutely beautiful and seems to stay around body temperature no matter how cold or hot it is outside. i haven't used my knobcover since.
I rub my **** until it’s warm. After that I stroke it back and forth, slipping it in to a faster motion. Eventually I have to pull it back because I have to come to a halt at some point.
