Windshield leak...
My windshild was replaced before I got my MCS and never noticed the small leak it had on the drivers side will it rained really good one day... got in my car hit the wipers and the water was still there... it was on the inside... anywho the previous owner of the car has every piece of paperwork that was EVER done on the car incluing the windshild, so I called and they came and resealed it for free...
heres my qustion,
I gave my car a qucik rinse so they could see where the leak was and take it from there, without drying it or anything got some sealant out did a line on the outside and inside and said that should fix it....umm water+metal+trapped=corosion? that is my worry DO you think any damage may come from this if there is in fact traped water bettween the new seal and old one?

Reputable glass shops usually provide a lifetime warranty for materials and installation defects. A leak on the windshield suggests shoddy installation. Have them remove and re-install the windshield properly. Your life depends on that piece of glass in the event of an accident. If the windshield pops out of its frame during a collision, your airbags will be rendered useless. Glass replacement is SERIOUS business and most people are unaware and driving around in vehicles with poorly fit windshields.
