Little Car,

I know zilch about the Mazda 6. I only own a Miata and a Mini. I don't own any othe Mazda vehicle. But go over to this Miata forum and ask away. Tons of people over there who are in the know about all Mazda cars, not just the Miata.

Here's the link: Miata Forum

I forgot who asked me if my Miata was an older model? tThe answer is no. It's a 2002. Maybe it's a girl thing, but I want more trunk space!!

I've had my '03 MC now for almost 8 weeks with over 7K miles on the clock. Other than the sunroof rattle I have had zero problems. my commute is 50+ miles each way daily, with another 30-70 miles driven inbetween. I have the 5 speed also and it is the best manual transmission that I have ever used! Added bonus: I average about 33 MPG, and have not gotten any less than 29 (there were some serious mountain roads on that tank) .

I also have the sport seats, and I'm glad I got them. While the normal seats are great too, I have found that the extra support from the sport seats is really nice and really helps with the longer drives. If you can, try to get the leather sport seats instead of the leatherette...it's almost the same but you also get the lumbar support! I have driven more than 4 hours on rough desert roads in these seats and it was awesome!

Just my .02

hi all!
so i finally test drove the mini yesterday morning and it was really cool  the only thing that was a surprise for me was how the automatic (b/c now they all have CVT right) felt almost like driving a manual. when i first started the car it was rumbling a lot more than regular sedans would. is that common? the dealership guy told me it was. although once i was on the highway it was great. but it certainly did feel more like a manual to drive. how comfortable is this on long distance driving?

also - did anyone read the JDPowers review in the wall street journal from a few days ago? they were rating cars based on ownership of a new vehicle after 99 days. the mini rated pretty low. if anyone has access to this article i'd appreciate some opinions!

i'm veering more and more towards getting one though - they're just so cool!
