OK, so my mini has finally made it to America (on the Aida) but the owner's lounge site doesn't show that. I found it out through the cargo tracking site. The owner's lounge is however now showing an estimated delivery date of 8/12. Does anyone know what that means exactly? Does that mean I can expect to pick it up on Monday or does that mean it's expected to arrive at the dealer Monday?

Well, I have an estimated delivery of 8/10 Now, if that is indeed when the dealer gets it, I still have to wait. I'm getting new plates, and they said it's taking about 3 days for the DMV to process that (a much longer time than the BMW's for some odd reason.

So if they get it Saturday...I'm looking at probably Thursday, I imagine

In my case, the estimated delivery date was the date I was able to pick-up from the dealer. I called the dealer the day before and they said they just took delivery. It will really depend on how fast the dealer will get your car ready after they get delivery.

Well we are all in the same boat... literally! I was on the Aida, and called mini today. They had Fri as the latest date it would go the the processing center. They said from there, it could take one to three days to be loaded onto a truck, and should be in Columbus by next Thurs or Fri. Mini said they will have update on Friday to see if it has arrived at processing, and again when it is loaded on the truck. So maybe calling mini is the best bet. This is more than mini exciting. Maybe we should have an Aida mini meet when we get ours.

 

I'm officially at the Distribution Center. I've been keeping a timeline from my order date until now, including the Shipping info. I'll post when it's all finalized.
I'll miss the Owners Lounge music though. dooooo do, do do dooo doooooo.

Congrats!! I'm still en route at the Owners Lounge. Maybe you can get them to give mine a mini-nudge. Do keep us posted!! It's only days to go!! For my part, you are welcome to my share of the music at the Owners Lounge-- maybe getting to the distribution center fast, was the reward for listening to it!! If I had known...

I made it into NY on August 5th.

 

The dealership told me that the official site is a little slow. The cars they get including mine all said they were at the distribution center but the dealership really had them. I was gobsmacked when they told me that it was here and ready for pick up and I had checked the site that day said it it was at the distribution center. They actually got it in the day before but they were doing dealer prep when they called me at the end of the day.

There is hope, I would guess it all depends at the point of entry, mine came into a port North of Oxnard, California, but the dealership is only 400/500 miles North of Oxnard. So maybe thats why my dealership gets the cars before the website is updated.

 

My MINI was also on the Adia. The owners lounge site changed to "At Distribution Center" today! It's not too long now! I'm so excited!!!
