I'm phcking angry now, someone stole the rear badge from my MCS on thursday last week.
he/she or they only took the "S" sign. but still, I immediately bought a new set n replace it.
n today, when I came home from McDonalds, the front is gone. YES, the front badge is gone.

does anyone have a baseball bat that I can borrow ? or a hidden camera?

 

Have they damaged the paint? Whats the point of doing that? Perhaps the craze of wearing car badges round your neck is coming back?!! Hope the guilty party are caught and beaten.

To be honest, I'm not surprised...but this still completely sucks. :evil: I worry about this kinda thing every night...my MINI lives outside.

Maybe you should custom-order a front badge that says "FU" instead of "MINI"...

Well, I'd be pissed too, but as Boyracer notes this sort of thing has happened before. When I used to drive my BMW regularly (about 10 years ago), I lost badges off both the hood and trunk several times. Dumb kids taking 'em to be "cool." It's annoying and clearly vandalism, but in a way it's also a tribute to your car. They're doing it 'cause they think the MINI badge is cool, and probably because they think MINIs are cool. If they meant real harm or disrespect, they'd key you, egg you, etc. Be glad THAT hasn't happened.

hey everyone, thanks for the input.
I went to the dealer to buy one today, but what they said is they don't have it in stock???n they quote me for $42 USD/$62 CAD plus a 14.5% tax... what I really mean is..... you're an official dealer n it's just a badge, n you tell me you don't have it in stock??!!! wtf ??
I ordered it, n I have to wait until NEXT MONDAY !!! damn, they just want to last my pain........

I live in Vancouver BC. please don't refuse to come here, but I don't recommand anyone to be here with their MC/MCS !!!!! it's dangerous......

that ******* did damaged a little bit of the paint, but it's hard to mention when the new one is replaced.... n the hood has 3 pin holes to mount the badge.
