5 Spoke Bullet Wheel Change?

Anybody with the 5 spoke bullit wheels on the Cabrio ever paint them something besides factory silver or white?

My friend had his stock 17" wheels powder coated purple to match his MCSCa! Looked nice. I think he paid about $60 per wheel.

I had a local powder coating company bead blast and podercoat my stock wheels with a satin finish for winter use

$50.00 a wheel

(Images taken with my camera phone but you get the idea)

OOOH. I like that black! I have wanted black wheels for Cecilia. But I ALMOST had a set of R105s, but the bolt holes are different And I don't want to risk a problem with them and a fix kit.

I wonder if I could get mine black....

+1 -- I would do this today, except I don't think they'd work on my JB

You could do it and have it turn out I think. The hardest part would be matching the finish to your paint. OR you could just go with a flat finish which would offset the wheels. Personally I would want them to match the finish of the paint.

....Kinda a crapshoot unless you find someone who knows what their doing
