hi Tammy, I dunno about the cruise control - something tells me its in a package tho (convenience? )

To order a car you pick what you want, give them a $1,000 deposit and sit tight for 6-8 weeks.

Tammy, from what I understand the pricing varies by location. For example, they seem to be higher on the west cost than in the midwest. Where are you located? What I mean is, some west coast dealers are charging more than MSRP. I wouldn't pay more than MSRP and would expect, at least, free mats, or something tossed into the deal or $500 or so off sticker. For the most part, prices have always been at or near MSRP.

Cruise comes with the multi-function steering wheel (not standard) -- which I think can be ordered a la carte or as part of the premium package.
The cute stripes can be ordered a la carte or as part of the sports package. But I wouldn't get them a la carte -- you can get them cheaper through NAM vendors . . . and you'll have a lot more options. So, if you get them because you're getting the sports package: great -- but otherwise, don't order them through the dealer, get your car and look in NAM for ideas on cool stripes.

by the way, it is absolutely normal to pay MSRP for MINIs anywhere in the US . . . and in the West Coast, I've heard that it's normal to pay above MSRP. If you're not on the West Coast, I would try to get the dealer to MSRP, and as noted above try to get some free mats -- or better yet, a windscreen.

You should NOT be paying above MSRP in Raleigh -- if they insist otherwise, contact Hendrick MINI in Charlotte to order at MSRP.

Link to NAM vendors? I see the stripes are only about $80 from the factory, am I still better off getting them aftermarket?
There are just so many cool options out there! examples:

hey if you don't want the package with the cruise just the multi-function steering wheels.

if you are getting the stick you need to order it with the factory LSD, its a must have
