An update....

As if anyone cares, I thought I'd give an update of my saga. FINALLY tomorrow a truck will arrive to pick up the orange mini.

I've been fighting with the dealer to take the car back. Finally, after going round and round, I offered a 250 dollar kickback to offset his shipping cost and he finally came around.

Tomorrow, the paperwork gets signed for the '06 gray. I'll be going to Fla. to visit family Friday so I won't be able to pick up the mini till next week but at least I'm almost there.

Not a big deal for ya'll but I'm SOOOOO READY. I've already bought seat covers and an Dinan exhaust and a set of 17" wheels. Just need to get my hands on the car.

Anyway, thanks for listening to me whine....

I dunno, whatcha doing with your 15% pulley?

Seriously, don't know yet... probably the same I do with every other aftermarket setup..... I store it in my shop with the intent of putting back to stock if I sell it and in a year or so, I clean shop and lo and behold, I have a boatload of crap laying around.

Late response about ebay

I had such a great ebay experience buying my 2008 MCSCa Sidewalk that I just wanted to be sure that people know ebay can be a great place to make purchases. The key is: check the feedback. Then check it again. Read the feedback, don't just look at the numbers!

I agree BUT.... for the most part, how could you go wrong buying an '08?

I know it can happen but hopefully an '08 is in pretty good shape.

Having said that, reading the feedback would have saved me a lot of grief.

As far as the Auto Climate goes, I find that it is best used as an alternative manual except when the car is really hot or really cold. When it is at one extreme it will wait to crank up the fan until you are getting a reasonable temp coming out of the vent, but I almost immediately use the fan cranking up as a sign to take over and set it myself. Second note, the auto mode automatically runs the a/c even when heating, which you can de-select (to save on gas, good for almost 2 mpg!).
