R52 The Official Sidewalk Owners Club

Don't worry WNG... you ordered a month after me, produced a week after me, and you'll still probably be driving before me since Wellington has to make the trip through the Canal to CA and then back to Denver!

Ok, we finally took the step and ordered one of the 08 Sidewalks. We just ordered it Monday this past week and have our production number (is it obsessive to check multiple times a day @ the owner's lounge?). Here is what we have so far for the list:
1. No pic yet (of course)
2. No name chosen (not sure if it is a boy or girl yet)
3. Tulsa, OK
4. BRG
5. Cooper S
6. Age 40 (1968)
7. Are you kidding me...too smart for that :-)
8. Slow Ride by Foghat
9. Already thinking about some
Anyway, I will keep the group posted as it progresses. Thanks for the great group and I look forward to learning and sharing with you all as our relationship with our new baby matures.
Have a great week all!

Okay Sidewalkers, Anyone figured out how best to treat Nightspokes? I used Wheel Armour and then (here's where I made my mistake I think) Epic. My matte black has a ghostly white sheen that I tried to take out tonight with Simple Green. It didn't seem to work. Rubbing alcohol or denatured alcohol may be my next attempt. Any thoughts?

Same here. We had built a number of MCC variations... in PW/Blue top configurations... At first we thought the blue interior was right but they had one in the showroom and it just didn't work for us... and then we looked at a Sidewalk... and they had one in PW... so we looked at it against another car with a blue top and that was it. Dougal was ordered. That was over a year ago now.
This Spring we installed an aero kit but it's taken us until yesterday to get new Sidewalk door sill covers, so I'll be posting pics soon.

well my car has arrived!! I must say i love it. this weekend we went to the MTTS show in Miami and then to Island mirada Keys. Wow what a beautiful drive.
I made few decisions to modify my car.
i have decided to add all of my interior accents to carbon fibre. In lieu i have decided to change my car name to "Carbon".
I am going to Minspeed to get a quote. I will post pics as soon as i get a camera, my other camera was lost.
btw, i love panther black interior, but i was wrong the steering wheel has a malt brown accent. but no worries i am going to replace the leather on the wheel.
EDIT: HERE IS "CARBON"

I still don't get why the malt brown is on the steering wheel. Maybe if you see the malt brown stitching on the seats it looks right up close?
Just seems like they ran out of brown leather and left everything else the same in the production line. Surely they're not going to make you PAY for a black steering wheel, are they?
