R52 2008 now or wait for 2009?

Sorry...it's white silver with black interior. So sweet....Apparently arriving on the 28th, making it to the dealer on June 6. Big debate now is bluetooth or not. Thoughts? I don't want people to hear my conversations, but CA law in July will require headsets or bluetooth.
I dont/cant have OEM bluetooth according to my dealer, cause it would not work with the top down for the microphone due to wind turbulance

Sacha, NOT true. I do have bluetooth on my white silver sidewalk. I have not tried to use it with the top down, though, But will try it tomorrow and report back.
abbyin3d, you will love the color. Iwill also expect you to post pictures to see those black seats. Mine has the malt brown.
Regards,
Xavier

In my mind I wouldn't build in something like Bluetooth. Even outisde of the 6x cost, I don't like being locked in to today's technology years into the future. Will today's Bluetooth work with a phone that you buy in 2 years? Of course I also passed on the built-in NAV system for the same reasons.
Just my opinion.

For anyone who's passing on the built-in NAV and wants Bluetooth, it would seem to me that the best solution would be to get a Garmin or Tomtom GPS that has a Bluetooth speakerphone built in...unless there's a major downside to that situation which I'm not seeing.
