Installed ALTA CAI - Blowing flames now.
I removed the JCW CAI and installed the Alta - sounds much nicer ! I love the induction noise when you get on it and the SC whine is sweet.
Anywho....My friend was driving behind me and said he saw flames on a couple of down shifts. So I parked the car and he reved it up to 6K and let off - yup, flames shooting out and you can smell unspent fuel.
Is that going to fowl things up ? does it need a tune ?

Is it safe ? I am going to call Adam and inquire about it, when I was installing it I called and spoke to him and he had not gotten his hands on a 2008 factory JCW yet.
There were a couple of vacuum hoses leading to the JCW box, one coming off the front left that I plugged. I think I missed another in the rear as I can hear it wiht the top down. I had a busy weekend with no time to examine it further. I was curious if the car can get too much air or if the CPU regulates it ?
