thank you all it is great to be here. Learning up on the mini. Been reading the owners manual LOL and found my ipod connector in the glove box (LOL) and even saved myself some coin scoring the sneaky location of the universal remote.

Automatic lights are set I think the wipers are too ( need some rain to check). Wife loves it which is really the important bit.

The roof is green but matches the car reasonably well will have to take a pick of it up (has not been up much) and I think the sunroof setting is cool but do not think we will use that much.

Regarding the roof what are most people using to clean/protect? I have an MR2 Spyder that has a vinyl/canvas mix. I use areospace 303 protectant and cleaner which is really good stuff. This roof looks more material-like to me so I figured I would check before spritzing her down. Funny I bet I am the only one here who thinks this think has tons of storage space. I got two watermelons and 3 bags of groceries in the boot. with a passenger in my spyder that is a water mellon in the passenger lap kind of situation.

I think my first mod will be getting rid of those ugly airbag stickers on the sun visors. a little goof-off on a paper towel and a flat blade screw driver should do it. the visor will look like hell for a day but the material tightens up after 8 hours like new. Will post pics of how too if it works on this material as it did on my spyder.

thanks again for the warm welcome.

Congratulations. Stunning combo. Now go find some endless curvy roads and enjoy her safely. Raggtop, 303 and griot's garage products are all good choices for the soft top.

A little late, but: Congrats on the new car. I did the same thing......I picked up the cabrio for my wife, but since I'm semi-retired and she's not, I tend to drive it quite a bit (they are a blast to drive). Hope you enjoyed the car so far this summer. As for the top, as wOOtMINI said - Raggtop, 303, etc are all good, but I really like Raggtop.

Instead of removing the air bag warning stickers try covering them with the custom ones at http://www.aestheticreations.net/gra...ini-Visors.jpg
