R52 Looking for a Alta version 2 supercharger pulley 19% reduction
#2
Any reason why you want the Version2? 19% are kinda rare to begin with...they make so much heat....and cause issues, most folks consider the 17% to be the smallest one to use...many folks that 19% later took them off and switched to a 17 or 15.
Most folks like the classic better...unless you have a damaged SC shaft...it is the better mounting method IMO. Craven's 17% is very nice, as is WMW 19%...so you do have other options.
IF you find ANY 19% Alta's around, they will be "NEW" old stock, or used...Alta stopped making 19% a long time ago (I am not 100% sure they ever made the 19% in ver2)...and the 17% a few months ago...attributed to the shrinking GEN1 MINI market.
Good Luck!!

I suppose I can use an alternate. I just liked the double lip design. What type of issues are there with the 19 and any idea how often the issues were present. I may drop to the 17 if the issues with 19's are severe and frequent. Are the issues related to the reduction or the manufacturing, i.e Alta vs WMW?

The 19% issues are just with all makes.....
You are overspeeding the SC by tons...for a LOW RPM driver it is OK, for anybody else, you are making more heat than power...the belts can get tossed very easy at higher rpms, belt slippage, mechanical issues...both engine wise due to boost levels...you are at about the limit that the pistions and rings can deal with...and you most likely will need a tune and/or injectors to make things work well.
Do a search....You might have fun with the 19%, but there is no free lunch...IF you have 93 octane, the 17% is awesome for a street driven car...but if you run close to red-line, get a 15%.
Some research showed that a MINI with 91 octane WILL ALWAYS have the timing retarded (=loss of power) by a bit due to heat of the intake charge...so 93 fixed that...and with the 17%, I run great. But if they drop out octane down like in CA, I will likely get a 15% and a re-tune.
