but have found no good solution for the convertable.

When I look in the mirror I can only see the rear headrests and roll bar in all but the middle inch of it. I do want a mirror but a windshield attached one that can be moved up and down (like every other car in the world) would be great. The windshield is small in these cars and I would like to use it all to look through. I was the one that commented in GPS installs, "dont use the windshield mount on THESE cars." The mirror on my cooper is bigger than the one on my Dodge Dually!

Couple questions:
Does the convertable mirror come off by twisting like the coupes?
(how do you remove the mirror on a gen 1 convertable?)
Maybe one of the great vendors could build a smaller replacement?

I did learn (through my reading this forum) that even the manual mirror has electronics in it. (The reciever for the key fob remote)
