Side Quarter Panel Window Seal?

I have an R52 convertible.
Is it possible to replace the (vertical) seal on the side quarter window that mates with the driver side window? The seal is attached to back side window.
I can only find the whole quarter panel window for sale. Can anyone find the part number for the only seal?
Any help or your experience is appreciated.
Thanks

Sorry for reviving an old unanswered question but I have the same one... can these be fixed without replacing the entire window. Don't see it on any of the part charts so I am guessing not but....

From what I found, I think the only trim (besides the roof to window gaskets) you can get is the outer rear window channel seal. On real OEM is shows it as part of the unit, part # 51377111021. As another option, you might be able to find seals at your local parts store or Home Depot and cut one to fit if you don't want to buy the whole unit.

Thanks... that is what I figured. I have to look at it closer but I thought that the rubber gasket will just slide out out of a slot in the trim piece that is affixed to the "rear" window. Maybe I can find one on a donor car somewhere as that seems like a lot to just fix the weatherstrip.

Can maybe also try searching on www.car-part.com for a used one as well. Some places might not just let you take the seal from the assembly, assuming they don't have that seal listed by itself. Otherwise, might just need to physically go to a local junk yard and see if you can find said donor. Good luck!

Thanks... was hoping there was an easier fix. Mine has worn enough at the bottom edge that it does not seat right when I put the top up. Annoying but not sure it is worth the $$ for a new window (yet.)

You are welcome. I have over 250K on my 2005 R52 and the seal is still good. I treated it with gummi pfledge every 2 year. I have not seen those inglass gaskets go bad. It mu=st be rare. That gummi pfledge stuff went NLA through BMW , but you can get it elsewhere. If the gasket is slipt gummi pfledge will not fix it.

Yeah... it is sort of annoying. It's on an 08 with <50k miles too so I'm guessing bad luck. If I open and close the door after I put the top up it will seat okay. Might have to play around with it a bit... maybe if a smooth the bottom a bit I can get it to slide into place (that almost sounded bad...)

Other option is to just always have the top down...

Yes, top down helps this.

reviving an old thread.. I think my seal may be bad, or maybe its aligned weird. over bumps my side window flaps against my rear quarter window (r52).. The noise is driving me nuts! Can I adjust these two windows closer? I've already adjusted the main side window via the bottom screws... it helped only a little.
The rear quarter window is flapping around.. if I hold the seal between the two windows it doesnt flap over bumps.

Check the regulator itself, also make sure the adjustment bolt/gear is tight. Those windows when up, do have a little play and movement in them. The regulator bolts could also be loose.
