not able to access settings

hope this is in the right area..

I have a 2006 s r52 and just had the factory alarm installed.
now it is time to change the oil (mileage count down for change is now at zero.
I changed the oil and want to reset counter for next oil change do.
I turn key to on and hold the computer button on turn signal and am only
able to scroll and see temp and distance and other one/2 other options.
manual says click button on turn indicator and scroll until you see set up.

that is my problem the red button on the indicator is not able to be pushed in...
how can I access the set up options?

thanks in advance... sorry if long explanation.

Think you are using the wrong directions....check again, make sure they are for gen1 cars...the ways to do it from the dash is kinda finiky...think you might be reading it wrong...remember pressing the odometer button...
But the reality is, most folks never reset the inspections due counter....heck many folks posted pics showing the overdue minus number almost matching their odometers...
