cd player

CD layer ejected a cd, now it won't load another. Can someone share a link to the radio manual. 07 Cooper S Convertible. Standard system, single CD player in radio. Not sure if it has an amp in the trunk. If no links, can someone provide the radio model number. Has HK speakers, assume it is also HK.

Your '07 drop head is actually still in the R52 clan. Your question ran me out to the garage/glove box. The radio/CD manual only shows operation charts. There is nothing else about the audio. To quote a small print line on the 'overview' page: "Your MINI center is always happy to answer any question you may have.". I'd put that right along with all this other stuff, back in the glove box. More than likely, it is the H/K system and the amp may well be under the passenger seat, it is on mine.

Thank you. Does your paperwork show a model number for the Radio? Would love to see a manual, maybe there is a reset button that I can't see, etc. daily driver so I hate to pull the dash apart just to find the radio model number.

There is nothing on the 'radio boost CD' owner's manual that gives model information. It is just a fold out overview with charts showing the name and function of each button. The main owner's manual does nothing but direct us to the audio manual. Wish I could provide you with more. I have never used the CD player on mine. I've got a iPod and a cigar lighter socket powered FM transmitter that sends the output to the radio tuned to a vacant frequency. (got a bit more that 600 tunes on it, 50-90's R&R, Blues, C&W AND Bohemian Rhapsody and Alice's Restaurant Massacree (had that on driving thru Stockbridge Mass during a major road trip a few years back)).
