MCSC Pic (better late than never)
Finally, a half-decent pic of my MCSC (now a month old). This is my wife with the car in Zion National Park (Utah). A spectacular car in a spectacular setting. Cruising through the mile-long tunnel sans top was a slightly creepy experience. Nice twisties in the park too.

Zion National Park is a short drive north from St. George, Utah, which in turn is not too far north of Las Vegas. I'd never been before, and after seeing it, wished I had planned to spend more time. I'll definitely be heading back.

Since we're so far from "The Dragon," perhaps we Westerners need our own MINI jubilee closer to home. Southern Utah would be a beautiful spot.

No other decent pics yet. Shame on me. But I've been too busy driving. Not to mention the rainy spring we've been having to wreck the photo opportunities.
"MINIs in Zion" - sounds like a good Dragon alternative to me. Of course we couldn't go racing through the park like a pack of crazed rally drivers (unlike the Dragon), but it's so beautiful there I doubt anyone would care. I should post a new thread to see if anyone would be interested. Fall sounds like a great time. A line of MINIs through the tunnel would be a sonic delight. And there's a great little collection of inns and restaurants at the entrance to the park. Throw in a little hiking too - sounds like the perfect way to spend a weekend.

Beautiful car! You know, I see a lot of these newer options (the wheels on your car, for example) in the MINI catalog or on MINIUSA and I think I hate them, but then I see them as part of a tastefully designed car, and they look great!
By the way, how come we don't get a picture of what the boot looks like after all those dusty gravel twisties?

As others have suggested, Fall would be a most excellent time for MINIs in Zion! I do think a night in Vegas would provide the perfect yin and yang to the unbelievable natural scenery of southern Utah.
