stripes on a convertible?

i'm wondering if anyone has any pics of a convertible with stripes? my wife says she likes the bonnet stripes, but i haven't seen any that really struck me for mine.

the only thing i can think of getting so far is the 01 for my door (since i've got the orange car).

where'd you get that fuel cap?
And is that a chrome cup under the door handle?

OMG! Where did you get all those chrome bits?

You can check my gallery too.
I recently had the stock stripes changed to black with chrome pinstriping to go with the rest of the chrome.
Can you say..Bling!
Looks sharp as hell.
I'll have to take more pics this weekend. I got the stripes at Mighty Stripes. They are great to work with.

This is a car from California that I did the Bonnet and Boot stripes for. He did the rest of the chrome on his own.
I think you can find most of that stuff on Mini Mania or some places like that.

As for the stripes I make chrome stripes with pinstripes. All one piece. And also black with chrome pinstripes.

Same as factory,No layers.

i'm so jealous of your matching orange dash/doors. i wish my dealer didn't screw up and got me that as i had ordered. i just couldn't wait another few months to get the car, so i'm living with the alloy patina.

i think i like some of the different stripes that are on dragonflyer's site. while i like the optional 2 stripes down the bonnet that mini offers, i think i like the single wide stripe down the center or the offset wide and narrow one together (i saw that somewhere else).

You can always take the pieces off that you want in body color and have them painted at a body shop. That solves that.

As for the stripes just e-mail me or PM me and I can make anything you want. I'm doing an offset stripe install for the DC install party.

How about this... I'll see you Sunday @ the Classic event. I've seen some of your posts on MININEO as well.

I've seen a few red-white combo's in the area. There is "Mini RN" that I see the most...

I should also add, that I don't think you're driving enough then. I got the car in May and have 11,000+ miles on it so it's not for my lack of driving...

those stripes look awesome!

actually, the dealership was prepared to order the replacement parts, but they said they'd have to take off the entire dashboard and door panel to get the originals out. at that point, i'd be worried about unending rattles and squeaks.

If that's your worry, drive with the top down and the stereo blasting. You'll be saying "I don't hear no stinkin' squeeks"

Sure we can do that. Diane (my wife) and I will be going over. Where do you live? We're in P-ville on the Perry side (3 houses away) just off of Vrooman Rd.

Did your car come in on the early May Truck into Classic? We took delivery on May 9th. If I'd have driven the car all week I'd be over 12,000. Diane took it Tues and Wed., I have it today. I work in Warrensville Hts., so I'm on 90 and 271 for most of my trip.

I'm in chardon on Ravenna right on the concord/chardon line, close to the girdled/ravenna intersection. Vrooman is pretty close for me, probably just take the backroads and hop over on williams on my way, what a nice drive.

my car was on the last truck of febuary. i say ive only had it for 5 months or so because its been in the shop the difference of that time, LOL (not joking either)

Know of anyone else up here thats going to the show?

I love the color of orange/black. When I see a Hot Orange without the stripes it almost looks "undressed" to me.

Here's some pictures of my Dark Silver MCSC with black bonnet stripes. I get a lot of "I've never seen one that looks like that before" comments with it!

Here is a shot of our Purple Haze MCSC with Black stripes. I definitely like the stripes and particularly the ones that come with the S model since they have the white pinstriping along the outer edge. Really sets it off nice
