If its not in fornt of me its in a mirror; total cost $7. The two stickys were 94 cents a piece at walmart. They've held up to FL heat and heated mirrors.

I rarely use the heated seats in Tampa except when the nights get cool and I have the top down. Then the heated seats are great.
One thing to note is when you pop out the heated mirrors there are two wires attached. You have to put those wires back on before re-installing the mirror. I just used a needle-nose plier to get them back on - real easy (thanks to rkw for the tip ).

I bought my MINI off the lot at a dealership in Jacksonville and the cold weather package was installed. I didn't want/need it so they split the cost with me.
My Multivex had a thin stick pad on the inside and a thicker pad on the outside. So there is a pretty big gap on the outside where you can see between the mirrors. I guessed they made one pad thicker so you would be able to get the Multivex off later if needed. So I guess I could fill the space with black silicone and smooth it out.
How do you get the mirror off? Just pull? It will be a lot easier to apply silicone with the mirror off.

I've posted above that I returned my driver's side Multivex. I took it off with only dental floss and it came off easily. I've had a few occasions to use dental floss on double stick tape and it cut through the foam tape easily each time. The thinnest dental floss you can find works the best.
For those of you who are thinking of removing your mirror for the Multivex installation/caulking, here's a picture of the back of the OEM mirror. The large circle in the middle has tabs that clip on to the power mirror mechanism. To remove the mirror, put the mirror in its maximum position pointing in and down. Reach in with your fingers close to the circle and simply pull to release it off the tabs. The two prongs at the left are for heated mirrors and you would pull off the attached wires.
