I get ave. of 30-35. I have a normal MINI, no S. I don't drive crazy. Not much hill action. I drive naked.
That last one was a joke. Just wanted to see if anyone was reading... lol...
I don't have a CLUE why we all differ so much other than the S/no S thing. We've been shocked the mpg was so high.

Truth be told I would have gone for an S too if the budget had allowed, but something had to give and the better gas mileage fits my long term budget better too.

I get about 27.5 MPG on my MCSc. It started a little lower but crept up a wee bit with each mod I made (Milltek exhaust, 15% pulley, 2% crank pulley, replace runflats with "normal" tires, JCW intake). I'm not sure that any single mod - or even the collection of all mods - made any significant difference. I will say this though, initially after putting in the pulley and the intake, my mileage suffered badly as I seemed to spend a lot of time running above 4500 RPM

New 07 MCSC with runflats 17" JCW Air breather and to date have a little over 1100 miles during breakin. My mileage has been a little highway/lot of stop & go city traffic. I have the GPS/OBC and my average to date has been between 25 to 27. I noticed on the Interstate that my mini feels and handles better at around 80 MPH. I try to keep it around 65 to 75 even though at those speeds everything on the road is passing me. The extra miles per gallon is just a plus to the already super looks and performance it gives. This thing turns more heads than my Goldwing Trike!

I have been getting between 410 and 420 miles per tank on my Cooper Cabrio, and I'm not shy with the gas. The most I have had is 440 miles on one tank, combined city and highway driving. Based on a 14-gallon tank that's a little over 29 mpg. When the temperatures are up and I have to run the air, I get about 27 mpg. Flashing the ECU with the MTH standard file made my mpg increase considerably.

I was motoring topless earlier this week, and was pretty warm until I stopped for a signal, then the wind came in from behind and the sides. I checked to see how warm it was, and the computer said 41 degrees. It seemed warmer in the garage when I put the top down....

Just passed 12,000 miles on my "06 MCSC and with mostly congested highway driving have been averaging 25 mpg. This is down from 27 mpg I think due to the colder weather. Probably the warm-up periods and the longer time on the enriched circuit. BTW - first service (although I changed the oil and filter myself twice) and no problems. Great car. I think I will keep it a long time unless I find a way to afford the Porsche Cayman. Have you seen that thing!

Had an opportunity to do some checking since this was posted. Mostly city about 23. On the highway this weekend 31.7. Highway and some mix city 27.5. The 31.7 was not sustained highway, had a couple of small cities to slow down and drive through.

I was getting 25 mpg, however, my computer has now dropped the fuel consumptiopn down to 23.7 mpg. I did discover that my tires were underinflated a bit, and I do need an oil change (need to wait another 500 miles to get it done by dealer). Hopefully this will change. I also hear that the oil companies place additves in the fuel during the winter months, which will cause the engine to run harder. Is this true? If it is, this could be a reason why some are experiencing low MPGs.

OK-now I'm embarrassed. Since I'm the one who started this post,I have the crappiest mpg of anyone who has posted. I know most of my driving is city stop and go and I'm a little heavy on the gas pedal(hey-it is a sports car!) Not thrilled with all season runflat S-lites but I doubt it's the tires. Having a blast with the Mini but i was hoping for better mileage numbers. Did anyone notice if they get better mileage with 93 octane vs 89 octane. Just wondering? Maybe I should drive naked like Aggie?(never mind-very poor visual)

Definately better gas mileage with 91 octane v the 86 of regular in my area. I get about 29-30 on my commute, drops to closer to 27 when I have a weekend of running around town during the tank as well. I have a lot of open road with a 65 mph speed limit which I almost abide by . . . it is a commute and not a track day.

Problem is city driving. The cabrio adds 250 pounds to the vehicle. Automatic adds more gas usage. S adds more gas usage. Add them all up in the city and that's what most people get. You'll get around 28 on the highway at about 55mp hour. What about lighter tires and wheels?
