Tall cabrio drivers...
Are all the cabrio drivera round here short? I ask this because I have a coupe and I know where my seat must be. When I look at all the pictures of your cars the seats seem to be way forward. I am looking to get a cabrio and I want to know how far back my seat will look. The seat will be all the way back on the track and then reclined as much as it can, the back seat stops it from going back too much, still an upright driving position. Oh, and the headrest all the way up.
Anyone who has pics...let's see em.
Thank you,
Todd.

I'm 6'2", with a 36-inch inseam, so while I have plenty of headroom (three inches or more, even without the seat in the lowest position), I do have to slide the seat all the way back on the track. I don't have to lean it very far back, though - there's still about two inches between my seatback and the leading edge of the rear seat cushion.
I don't think the seating dimensions are the same between the cabrio and the hardtop (and not just the obviously-narrower back seat), so you'd probably have to sit in one to get a feel for it.

I'm 6'1" and ride with the seat all the way down, slightly reclined and back about all but one click on the track. No one ever volunteers to sit behind me (and I really don't offer).
As for headroom, I really don't think that would be a problem unless you were 7 feet tall. Then again if you were that tall, you'd probably live someplace where the top doesn't need to be up (and I'd hope you can play basketball)...

I'm 6'6" with a 38" inseam. I do not have any problems with my cabrio with the top down or up. However, I do feel that long trips (over an hour) will be strenuous on my legs and back. I had gone to the DC Auto show and found that the new 07' hardtops have more leg room than my 06' cabrio, along with telescloping steeing wheel. I can't wait until the 09' cabrios come out. I'm anticpating that the cabin room will increase in them as well. No backseat driver behind me though.

I am 6'5" and have no problems with head or leg room. In fact, the reason I took so long to buy one is that I didn't think there would be enough room to take my wife and 2 kids out for a drive. The bottom line is that my son easily fits behind me if the seat is positioned right. Now would I want to drive 4 hours straight like I did yesterday with him behind me? Probably not. But, to take short criuses, I think that it's fine.

6'3". I drive with the seat in either of the two rearmost positions. And I sit fairly upright. My 5 yr old can sit behind me cross-legged for short trips but doesn't like it. Two years ago we took 2 adults and 2 kids to MOT. I couldn't make her (then 3 years old) sit cross legged for the entire weekend. So I had to be forward 3 or 4 clicks with my legs bent uncomfortably. My right knee hurt for weeks.
